Sauteed bananas in a citrus-infused rum caramel sauce sit atop delightful Horchata Bites, paired perfectly with creamy vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
3 Each | Revel Eats® Horchata Bites |
2 Tbsp | Butter |
1/2 Cup | Dark Brown Sugar |
2 Tbsp | Rum, Dark |
1 tsp | Cinnamon |
1 tsp | Vanilla Extract |
1/2 tsp | Orange Zest |
1 Each | Banana, Sliced |
3 Scoops | Vanilla Ice Cream |
Garnish | Mint Sprig |
Directions
- Combine the butter, dark brown sugar, rum, cinnamon and vanila extract in a sauté pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced banana to the butter sugar mixture and coat.
- Spoon some of the sauce in the bowl and place the ice cream and Horchata Bites in the middle and top with the bananas and remainder of the sauce.
- Garnish with mint sprig.
