In his acceptance remarks, Rick shared Dennis Food Service’s pride in being a 100% employee-owned company, a moment that earned an audible response of appreciation from the audience. “Being recognized as a good neighbor means a lot to us,” said Chris Webster following the event. “It’s not just about doing business in Bar Harbor — it’s about showing up for our customers, supporting their success, and being part of what makes this community thrive. This award belongs to every employee-owner who contributes to that mission every day.”
The evening also saw the Chamber’s Cadillac Award presented to David Payne, owner of Jordan’s Restaurant, for his lifetime of leadership and service to Bar Harbor. Payne’s connection to Dennis Food Service runs deep — his grandson, Matt Cuskelly, is part of the Dennis team and was in attendance to celebrate both honors.
